Campaign Manager

New Banner Slots for Order Status Page

We are excited to announce new banner slot placements are available for your order status page. Now, you have the ability to add up to five banners to further customize the order status page to your liking. This feature provides you with more flexibility to add banners to different areas of the page to improve conversion rates, keep customers informed, and personalize the customer experience.

HTML Content Type for Email Campaigns

You can now create your campaign banners using HTML through a new HTML editor, with the content directly rendered into emails.

Additional Improvements

The following items are improvements that have been made to Campaign Manager:

  • Your shop ID can now be used with the message type to preview email campaigns. This allows you to see how your banners will look in the actual messages and the shop you are targeting. For example, you can select your shop in Italy and preview the message design accordingly.
  • Your user-specific list of defined languages is now available by default when selecting a language for campaigns. If you do not have a language defined, a standard list of languages will be used.

Returns Portal

Gift Returns Portal for Shopify

Digital gift returns are now available for gifts purchased in Shopify stores. Gift receivers can log in with their order number and the zip code of the delivery address and select between receiving a gift card for your store or exchanging the item for a different color or size. To activate this feature, please contact your parcelLab representative.

Additional Customs Invoice for Returns

Another new feature for the Returns Portal is the ability to generate additional invoices for cross-border return shipments. This additional invoice facilitates a smooth customs clearance by providing essential information required for processing (for example: VAT number, EORI number) that may not be present in your default invoices to customers.

SSO for Customer Service Returns Portals

Customer service returns portals are now secured using Single Sign-On (SSO). This ensures that users accessing the portal have been authorized through your SSO configuration for the parcelLab Portal.

Display Refund Payment Provider

You can now display refund payment providers in the Returns Portal to your customers who choose to be compensated through a refund. The original payment is displayed on the item selection page and can include information on the refund processing time.

This feature provides your customers with greater transparency around their refund process which reduces anxiety and increases trust.

Additional Improvements

The following items are improvements made to the Returns Portal:

  • You can now use an additional URL query parameter to pre-select items for return in the Returns Portal (for example: to use in a ‘My Account’ section so customers can directly return a single item). To create a direct link with pre-selected items to return, use the _a option and separate article numbers with a comma (for example: http://yourwebsitehere.com/returns/#/?ref=YourOrderNumber&email=YourEmailAddress&_a=articleNumberA,articleNumberB).
  • Staging environments for Returns Portals are now password-protected to ensure that end-users do not attempt to register returns in the test environment by accident.
  • Improved user process for registering split returns.

Insights

You can now view which type of webhooks have been sent along with their success and response performance in the Engagement dashboard in the Analytics module of the parcelLab portal.

We’ve made some changes to ensure we are compliant with new spam protection rules that will be introduced by email providers Google and Yahoo in February 2024. parcelLab is already compliant with email sender requirements and has made the following small adjustments to support the upcoming changes to the guidelines:

  • Users will now be able to easily unsubscribe from emails in one click.
  • We have improved our proactive monitoring of spam rates to ensure there is no disruption of delivered messages. The spam rate at parcelLab is historically well below the recommended threshold of 0.3% set by Google and Yahoo.
