Benefits of pL Engage Event

By providing the latest status of a delivery with parcelLab, such as via your Order Status page, you can keep your customers updated on the progress of their order at each stage of the delivery journey, which in turn reduces customer service order queries.

What is pL Engage Event used for

The event integration allows you to send checkpoint information for an order that is used to send proactive communications to customers and provide status updates via your Order Status page. These status updates can also be used to send out messages via a third-party system that you use, such as your own ESP, push message, or SMS provider.

Use our event integration to send the latest status updates to parcelLab, which are used in proactive communications to keep customers updated on their order status throughout the order lifecycle, which includes the following benefits:

How to connect pL Engage Event

To integrate with parcelLab to send status updates, you can use one of the following methods:

You can submit this information via one of the following integration methods:

 

API: The most flexible method of data integration is API. You can send event/checkpoint updates when calling the send-event

Step 2

Webhooks: Set up webhooks with parcelLab that is secured with HTTPS and receive relevant tracking events to feed back into your shop systems.

Step 3

Files: Transfer files containing relevant tracking data through our SFTP server with certificate-based authentication.
