About SOC 2

parcelLab achieved a Service Organization Standards (SOC) 2 Type II certification in accordance with American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) standards for SOC also known as SSAE 18. SOC 2. For the past few months, we have been working hard to increase our security and data controls. We underwent a rigorous audit by Prescient Assurance, a third-party industry leader in security and compliance attestation for B2B Software as a Service (SAAS) companies to gain this certification. Prescient Assurance is a registered public accounting in the US and Canada and provides risk management and assurance services to US and international firms.

This is in addition to the previous certifications we achieved – SOC2 Type I, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and ePrivacy Seal of Approval – earlier in July.
