parcelLab wins Smart Solution Award 2019
At the supply chain summit "EXCHAiNGE", the specialist for smart shipping communication, parcelLab, was awarded the "Smart Solution Award 2019". The prize was awarded for the second time this year by the trade magazine "LOGISTIK HEUTE" and Strategy&, the strategy consultancy of PwC. The award is given for particularly innovative concepts that have the potential to fundamentally change traditional value chains in the future.
With parcelLab's smart solution, customers can improve the customer experience in the postal check-out process. By monitoring every single order in real time, parcelLab enables personal, individual and emotional shipping communication supported by machine learning.

"parcelLab's solution offers great potential to extend and revolutionise its current benefits for customers and merchants in the checkout process in B2C e-commerce to the B2B business," praised jury member Harald Greimer, partner at PwC Management Consulting. After all, B2B companies also face the challenge that their valuable customer relationships are controlled by third parties after a successful business transaction.
Jury member Dr Petra Seebauer, Managing Director of EUROEXP Messe- und Kongress-GmbH and publisher of the trade magazine LOGISTIK HEUTE adds: "parcelLab underlines the thesis that successful solutions focus on the requirements of the end customers. By focusing on the essential requirements of the end customers, an improved customer experience can be created in the postal check-out process as a whole."
