We are looking for a full-time People Operations Generalist (DACH), based in Munich to join our global People Operations Team.
Working closely with our people partners, learning and development team; and other internal stakeholders, you'll own end-to-end delivery of all people-related activities, processes, and experiences for the UK team, delivering on our commitment that working at parcelLab is not just a job, but an experience. To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a hands-on work style and bring strong operational excellence in delivering top notch experiences throughout the employee lifecycle.
What you can expect:
Managing all administration-related topics and practices along the employee journey for your region e.g., contract creation, absence management, employee data requests, pre-boarding, onboarding, offboarding
Managing data and documentation accuracy in our HR systems and personnel files
Leading payroll preparation in your region and supporting with global payroll preparation
Being the first point of contact for employees for any queries
Creating and implementing HR policies across all parcelLab locations
Managing benefits in your region
Supporting with HR projects and organisational topics
Collaborating with all HR team members
Munich office champion
What you need to succeed:
Solid 3-5 years HR experience in Germany
Significant experience in an operational People or HR role in a fast-paced environment where change is the norm
Proven experience building and improving people processes for greater effectiveness & efficiency - you're confident that you can turn ambiguity into clear priorities
Passion for people and dedication to amazing employee experiences
Working knowledge of labor laws and regulations, and ability to educate others in the organisation about their implications for HR policies and practices. Staying up to date with newest labor laws policies and procedures
Demonstrated success building effective working relationships through strong communication skills
Experience with a comprehensive HRIS
Drive and motivation to get started, find resources, dig into the details, organise your priorities, and deliver results - you are proactive and work with a high level of personal accountability!
Curiosity - you don't just check the boxes, but ask thoughtful questions & explore the possibilities
HR certification is great but not required, and we love to support the continued education of our team members!
Bonus points for expertise in Compensation & Benefits program management
Fluent language skills in German and English, both written and spoken
