More than 350 online stores throughout Europe and the USA, including a third of the top 100 online retailers in Germany, already rely on parcelLab’s expertise and service. Successful customers include companies such as Lidl, IKEA and MediaMarktSaturn. With about 50 post-purchase communications experts and offices in Munich, London and Paris, parcelLab has grown tremendously over the past four years. For this reason, we would like to introduce the people who started parcelLab.

parcelLab – The Founders

On a mission to improve the post-purchase shopping experience, Anton, Julian and Tobias founded parcelLab together in 2015. Today we would like to introduce the three founders…

Anton Eder – COO

Anton is one of the founders and COO at parcelLab. He takes care of all matters related to marketing and organization. Anton also makes sure that everything runs as it should – for all our national and international customers. He studied at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich and at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. After his studies, he worked in various marketing positions at companies such as Adconion Media Group, IDG Tech Media and Spiceworks. In his free time, he can be found on the soccer field or at the Isar river.

What is the USP of parcelLab? Why should customers use us?

Our goal is to make shipping relevant and personalized to provide shoppers with an optimal shopping experience. Important delivery events or discrepancies are identified thanks to real-time monitoring of each delivery and sent as an email, SMS, message via Facebook or within the merchant app. This allows companies to keep an eye on the entire customer journey, strengthen customer loyalty, and exploit upselling potential by directing customers back to the store via individually tailored messages.

Julian Krenge – CTO

Julian is one of the founders and CTO of parcelLab. With his technical background and his degree in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen University, he can solve any product related problem. Julian developed our product and challenges himself to make it even better every day. When Julian is not making sure our retailers get the best support and service possible, you can find him on his bike or having a cold beer.

How do you see customer satisfaction evolving?

One thing is fact: we need to improve the customer experience every day. Online retail is becoming more and more competitive and customer experience is what sets you apart. The opportunities for customers are enormous. Customer focus is becoming more and more important to ensure sustainable success.

Tobias Buxhoidt – CEO

Tobias is one of the founders and CEO of parcelLab. With his many years of experience in the field, he ensures that every retailer gets the best possible customer experience. He knows what his customers really need and want. With degrees from the University of Karlsruhe (TH) and the University of Newcastle, he is perfectly suited to provide customers with the support they need. Prior to his time as founder at parcelLab, the industrial engineering graduate worked for the BMW Group as a development engineer and then for three years as a management consultant at Barkawi Management Consulting. When he is not taking care of his customers, Tobias can either be found mountain biking or surfing at the Eisbach.

What do you think is the secret to the greatest customer experience?

The answer is simple: relentless focus on customer value, for each and every customer. That’s also why we founded parcelLab. If you think about top companies like Apple, Amazon, ASOS & Co. they are incredibly focused on creating value for their customers. We want to focus entirely on ensuring that our customers receive an outstanding customer experience.
