1. Briefly tell us what your usual working day at parcelLab is like?

After I get my tea and fruit in the morning, I look at all the new emails that come in and start working through them. During the day, new mails are constantly coming in, which I then also process as quickly as possible. This often involves making adjustments to the setups of our current customers. From time to time, I prepare for and then conduct onboarding meetings with new customers. In doing so, I create sample emails for new stores, make a list of the most important points for the customer and then talk to them for about an hour.

2. What does your professional career look like?

I attended and completed both elementary and secondary school in Munich. I then completed my training as an office communications clerk at Deutsche Telekom AG. However, since that wasn't the right thing for me after all, I decided to catch up on my specialized baccalaureate. From 2014 to 2017, I completed a dual study program at Knorr-Bremse AG and the Cooperative State University in Ravensburg. It was a really great time that I wouldn't want to miss. After my studies, I was taken on and worked as an Integration Consultant Web Technologies for another year until I started at parcelLab in September 2018.

3. What do you like most about parcelLab and your job?

I like the friendly interaction among colleagues and supervisors. I also appreciate the flat hierarchies and the resulting opportunity to contribute and implement my own ideas. What I particularly like about my job is that I always have enough to do, I can work independently and manage my time, and the daily contact with customers.

4. What makes parcelLab unique in your opinion?

The employees are a very mixed team (motley bunch) with different strengths and weaknesses that complement each other very well. Everyone gets along, is helpful and there are rarely any arguments. Everyone sticks together - that doesn't happen so often.

5. What are the characteristics of the perfect parcelLab applicant?

He/she should be young, dynamic and able to work independently. Motivation and initiative are very important at parcelLab. A little work experience would be good, but is not absolutely necessary, because (with a little technical understanding) you can learn everything you need to be able to do for parcelLab (at least as Technical Account Manager).

6. How would you describe the working atmosphere at parcelLab?

Basically, there is a positive working atmosphere. The employees all enjoy working at parcelLab. Motivation is additionally strengthened by free drinks, breakfast, fruit and the infamous "Taco Tuesday".

7. What has been your favorite moment at parcelLab so far? And why?

My probationary interview, because I received positive feedback and my supervisor was very happy with me. My insecurity has thus disappeared. Also, I love helping prepare for Taco Tuesday on Tuesdays and cooking for everyone.

8. What qualities and strengths have you been able to gain during your time at parcelLab?

Learning expertise has made me more confident and I radiate that outwardly (to customers).

9. What challenges did you already have to face during your time at parcelLab and how did you overcome them?

I have often had to identify on my own what the

problem in the setup of customers was and solve it. In doing so, I have

help from developers or I did the complete setup myself.

10. What makes Munich so attractive for you?

Munich is my hometown. Here

most of my friends live here, my parents and I know my way around.

Also, there are so many different destinations like lakes, mountains etc. in

not too far away!

11. How would you spend your perfect weekend?

My perfect weekend would be a mix of time with my boyfriend alone and with friends together. Possibly a trip to a lake with my boyfriend and the other day a barbecue and game afternoon with friends.

12. What three words would your colleagues use to describe you?

I would say helpful, friendly and customer-oriented.
