1. Briefly tell us what your usual working day at parcelLab is like?

In the morning, I start my day in the office with oatmeal (a must!) and a tea. After that, I plan my day - and that's where the routine ends. Generally, I am in communication with potential new parcelLab customers: The tasks range from writing emails and making phone calls, to giving demos, to creating quotes, as well as planning projects. In any case, I never get bored.

2. What does your professional career look like?

I studied Romance languages and literature at university, but then somehow slipped into IT. At a software licensing company, I supported the sales staff and customers. I realized that I was very interested in these tasks and then came to parcelLab via another start-up where I did cold calling.

3. What do you like most about parcelLab and your job?

My favorite part is the customer contact and the fact that you can build positive relationships with the customer. It's also great when we can help retailers with our product because it offers them real added value. Happy customers are the most important thing for us.

4. What do you think makes parcelLab unique?

What I find special about parcelLab is how much trust is placed in each and every employee. Here, no one is told that the tasks or customers are too big for them. You are always supported in mastering all the issues that arise well and generating the desired output.

5. What are the characteristics of the perfect parcelLab applicant?

He should work independently - this is very important. No one is constantly looking over your shoulder here to check what you do all day. You should also have the necessary proactivity for this.

6. How would you describe the working atmosphere at parcelLab?

There is a very positive basic atmosphere and everyone pitches in together. Everyone helps everyone else and the different personalities of the employees complement each other perfectly.

7. What has been your favorite moment at parcelLab so far? And why?

Especially for me are the on-site appointments with the customer. I think that's the most fun, especially the more knowledge and experience you have. I also notice that with every visit.

8. What qualities and strengths have you gained during your time with parcelLab?

I would say that you become more confident every day: Be it through the interaction with super colleagues or also through the numerous contacts I have with (potential) customers every day.

9. What challenges did you already have to face during your time at parcelLab and how did you overcome them?

There is always a lot to do at our company and so it is not at all easy to prioritize properly and keep track of things, but you just learn to do that over time and continue to develop through this challenge. The positive atmosphere in the team always helps, too - including the sticker booklets that our boss Chris got for everyone.

10. What makes Munich so attractive to you?

I think the city is just super beautiful and relaxed. One of my favorite places is the Hofgarten (especially in summer).

11. How would you spend your perfect weekend?

When the weather is nice, I like to have a picnic in the park on Saturdays and read an exciting book in the meantime. On Sundays I also like to go to the mountains, because they are always very easy to reach from Munich. When I'm exhausted, we barbecue on the balcony in the evening.
